For its second edition from 14th – 24th March the Passeig de Gourmets food festival is taking over the Passeig de Gracia. For ten day renowned chefs open their restaurant doors to invite guests to indulge in their culinary delights.
More than 18 of Barcelona’s top restaurants are taking part. Exclusive wine and cocktail tastings from local mixologists are also on offer. Restaurants around the city offer tasting menus to celebrate the festival.

If you have no reservation you can still take part in the Platillos tour where 13 restaurants prepare dishes served for €7 with Estrella Damm, Familia Torres, Juvé & Camps or Coca-Cola. The ones on Passeig de Gracia are:

Dishes range from burrata with tomato Raf and kumato to octopus carpaccio to baby squid consomme to peas with cuttlefish. Each dish is creatively inventive.
Four Hands Menu
Two Michelin-starred chefs from different restaurants together have created special experiences for each guest – wine pairing is a recommended option. You will have the opportunity to speak to the chefs with this themed menu celebrating Catalan cuisine.

March 14
Carmen Ruscalleda and Raúl Balam are at the Mandarin Oriental, Moments Restaurant preparing a tasting menu on the signs of the zodiac.
March 19
Chef Nandu Jubany and Carles Gaig prepare a delicious three-course meal. Delights like chilled toasted almond soup with shrimp; oysters gratin, caviar and sea bass tartare at the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona’s Restaurant Solc.

March 20
Pablo Tomas and Joel Castanye from the top new restaurant Sintonia serve tapas dishes like pigeon and hare, desserts and sweets at their restaurant..
Want something more? Then Martin Berasategui and Xabi Goikoetxea are at Monument Hotel’s restaurant, Oria, with innovitive dishes ranging from seafood to squab with creamy chocolate desserts.
March 21
Aurelio Morales and Nathan Minguell take over the range at the Claris Hotel & Spa, join them for a Mediterranean and Cantonese gastronomic experience.

Cocktails in Barcelona
Head to Sintonia to enjoy a free cocktail class and learn how to create and serve delicious cocktails. For the wine lover head to the wine tasting at La Vinoteca Torres and blend your own wine with Jean Leon varietals.
Hotel Alma’s Gastronomic Journey Through The Five Senses is a unique experience that will take place in the heart of the restaurant, its kitchen.
Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona invites you to cook with a partner, gameshow style, and create a dish at the hotel before a jury. The prize for the winning team is dinner for two at the hotel’s Solc Restaurant.

The Claris Hotel & Spa features mixologist Daniel Maddeau and chef Martin Muchnik in Culinary Cocktails where you can watch how to pair cocktails with food.
