One of Malaga’s better hotels in prime position with the port in front and the cathedral and historical district behind, it also has a unrivalled roof-top terrace complete with fabulous views, small bar and swimming pool.
Even if you’re not staying go up for a drink and those views!

The location of the Palacio is ideal for exploring the old quarter and for Muelle Uno shopping centre or Malaga’s beaches and beachside restaurants.

The weekend of my stay in September was extremely busy with a function on the Friday night and a wedding on the Saturday night. Both nights access to the roof terrace was limited and the wait for the lifts (I didn’t fancy the stairs to the roof) was painful.

A pleasant 4★ hotel, far from luxurious both in upkeep and service, although I’d stay again for the location and roof terrace. It is really a base for exploring not for relaxing.
